  9.           giftopnm - convert a GIF file into a portable anymap

  12.           giftopnm [-verbose] [-comments] [-image N] [GIFfile]

  14.      DESCRIPTION
  15.           Reads a GIF file for input, and outputs portable anymap.

  17.      OPTIONS
  18.           -verbose
  19.                Produces verbose output about the GIF file input.
  20.  
  21.           -comments
  22.                Only outputs GIF89 comment fields.
  23.  
  24.           -image
  25.                Output the specified gif image from the input gif
  26.                archive (where N is '1', '2', '20'...).  Normally there
  27.                is only one image per file, so this option is not
  28.                needed.
  29.  
  30.           All flags can be abbreviated to their shortest unique
  31.           prefix.
  32.  
  33.      BUGS
  34.           This does not correctly handle the Plain Text Extension of
  35.           the GIF89 standard, since I did not have any example input
  36.           files containing them.
